Building on the range and anti-interference performance of earlier generations, Yapalong-7000 is designed to deliver further improvement in both areas. 

Yapalong-7000 features a display-based menu system that makes operation easy and intuitive. Its bright display remains clearly readable in daylight. Like the Yapalong-6000, Yapalong-7000 is designed for Bluetooth headset use, while offering significantly improved Bluetooth connectivity. When paired with a standalone PTT button, the radio is even easier to operate and remains unobtrusive to the audience.

The standard configuration supports up to 4 OM (open-mic) users, or up to 3 OM users plus unlimited PTT (push-to-talk) users. An OM user can also be configured as a PTT user with a dedicated talk slot, while regular PTT users share 1or 2 common talk slots. This standard configuration is well suited for soccer, football, and rugby officiating communications, and Yapalong-7000 can be readily customized to support additional OM users.

Yapalong Subgroup function is available using either the PTT button II or the X/O keypad button, making Yapalong-7000 ideal for applications such as football coaching. The Subgroup function allows users to communicate within smaller groups inside a larger communication group. This functionality is provided through customization, as it is not included in the standard firmware due to varying client requirements.

Yapalong-7000 is not compatible with previous models, including the Yapalong-4000, 5000, and 6000.
